  Doug Wilburn - Director, Business Finance Department

Doug comes to SEDA-COG with 10 years of experience leading districts’ and bank stores’ sales and service teams to achieve revenue and acquisition goals. At Mifflinburg Bank & Trust, he exceeded annual loan and deposit goals as Business Development Officer (2016 to present). As District Manager, helped Wells Fargo Bank to rank No. 2 in sales and service in the Mid-Atlantic Region (2011 to 2013). He was the Branch Manager III from 2015 to 2016 at Santander Bank; the Multi-Branch Manager III at Capital One Bank from 2013 to 2015; and worked at Wachovia Bank from 2008 to 2011. Douglas earned his BS in Business Administration with a Marketing concentration and a minor in Accounting from Elon University in North Carolina in 2003.

 

 

John K. Reichard - Senior Relationship Manager II

As senior relationship manager II, John builds on his many years of experience to connect businesses with the best loans for their goals.

He has been employed with the SEDA-COG Business Finance Department since 1994, starting as financial analyst, and has worked with several programs such as the SEDA-COG Export Development Program and PA SourceNet. John became a loan officer in 1999 and took over program directorship in 2010. In 2017, John transitioned to senior relationship manager II.

John earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from Dickinson College and a Master of Science in business administration from Bucknell University.

 

Tina Showers - Principal Program Analyst

Tina helps businesses’ loans move smoothly and efficiently through the approval process as principal program analyst. She also manages portfolios and fund reporting.

She is the Principal Program Analyst for the Business Finance Program, as she was from 2011 to 2016. Tina began her SEDA-COG career in 2002 when she was our Finance Analyst from 2002 to 2011. Most recently, she worked for AgChoice Farm Credit in Lewisburg since 2016.

She earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance and a Bachelor of Science in Economics and a minor in Information Systems from Susquehanna University, graduating Magna 

 

Karen Smith - Program Assistant

We welcomed Karen as the newest member of our team! As a program assistant, Karen writes board minutes for the SEDA-COG Local Loan Review Committee and the Local Development Corporation, compiles interim mailings, assists with client correspondence, and completes other administrative tasks.

She comes to us from Bucknell University where she was Administrative Assistant to the Associate Dean of the College of Engineering from 2016 to 2019. She also was the Administrative Assistant to the Dean of that college from 2008 to 2016. She took an externship study at L/B Water in Selinsgrove from 2007 to 2008 and was a Secretary and Typist for Residential by Ross in Selinsgrove from 1994 to 2003. She was Office Manager and Bookkeeper for David Ewing Custom Homes from 1980 to 1991. She earned her Associate Degree in Specialized Business in Accounting from McCann School of Business and Technology.

Jim McClure - SBA 504 Loan Specialist for South Central PA

Jim helps businesses in south central Pennsylvania connect to loans from the U.S. Small Business Administration and U.S. Department of Agriculture through SEDA-COG.

He retired from SEDA-COG in 2010 as director of business finance. He started in 1989 as senior loan officer after working in the commercial finance/lease industry.

Jim earned an Associate Degree in business administration from Susquehanna University.

  Dan Rarig - SBA 504 Loan Specialist for Northern and Northeastern PA

Businesses in northern and northeastern Pennsylvania can contact Dan about the U.S. Small Business Administration through SEDA-COG.

He worked at SEDA-COG from 1985 to 1996 and was director of business finance during the last years of his tenure. He has over 35 years of experience working in financial management and accounting positions in the manufacturing sector, as well as employment with a nationwide non-bank lender and a merger and acquisition firm.

Dan has a Master of Business Administration from Bloomsburg University.
